Welcome to the Dulwich Women’s Institute – a vibrant and inclusive community where women of all ages come together to connect, learn, and have fun. Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time local, our group offers a friendly and welcoming space to meet others and try something new.
Each month, we host a varied programme of events and activities designed to inspire, educate, and entertain. Whether you enjoy getting creative, expanding your knowledge, or simply spending time with others in a relaxed environment, there’s something for you.
Here’s a preview of our exciting line-up:
We regularly ask our members what clubs and interest groups they’d like to join – and we do our best to make them happen. Alongside our ever-popular Dining Club, we’re launching a new Crafts Club, and we’re always open to suggestions. Walking groups, book clubs, photography meet-ups – if you have a passion, we’d love to help you turn it into a group others can enjoy too.
Having fun is a big part of what we do, but so is giving back. We’re proud to support local charities, food banks, and independent businesses, and we actively collaborate with community initiatives throughout the year.
We’re more than just a club – we’re a community with purpose.
A Statement to Our Community
At Dulwich WI, we are proud to be a welcoming, supportive and inclusive community for all women.
We are disappointed by the recent changes to national WI membership rules. As a committee, we want to reaffirm our commitment to fostering a space where all women feel valued, respected and able to participate fully.
In line with the WI’s own Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles, we recognise that being a woman encompasses both biology and lived experience. We remain dedicated to creating an environment that reflects this understanding, where kindness, respect and inclusivity are at the heart of everything we do.
We will continue to listen, learn and support our members and wider community, ensuring Dulwich WI remains a place where everyone feels they belong.
