About Us - What Goes On
At our monthly meetings we run a diverse programme of actvities – here are some of our ideas for 2022 – Making Sleep Pods for the Homeless; Colour you Wow; An introduction to Sign Language; Easter Eggs – to blow and paint; Quiz night; Summer BBQ; Bingo night; Uplifting Care – bra fittng and breast awareness; Folk Lore and Halloween; Xmas craft; Xmas party.
In addition we canvas our members to see what clubs they’d be interested in. We’ve just set up a Film club and in the process of setting up a Craft Club. And we’re happy to support our members to start a club for their particular interest.
Our Commitment to Our Local Community
As well as having fun, we are also keen to support and promote local businesses, our local food bank and community enterprises.
We blend the benefits of a safe, women only space with a social conscience – aiming to play a role in social inclusion and engagement.
